I’ve never been subjected to this type of math or algebra before and it appears as though most of these types of problems are going to be on the test.

At this point in the semester, I feel like I have a good idea of the concepts and how to represent them (e.g. I understand and can visualize what is happening in space) because I've spent a lot of time learning from alternative resources. What I am having trouble with now is when I go back to the book, I can follow the examples to an extent, but there are computations that aren't explained and I don't know where they are coming from. Moreover, and more importantly, I don't know how to approach the assignment questions at all.
