I enjoy reading science articles related to latest discoveries, facts and about newly invented courses or programs. Thus I am an active member of selectscience, cell research , nature reviews. Apart from this, I watch movies, series , play games like squash. I have also joined a dance institute in Mohali to learn " bhangra" dance form.

Teaching Experience

I was working as a full time teaching intern at a convent school located in Punjab as a part of Teaching course for a period of 3 months. I was teaching higher secondary school students of 10th, 11th and 12 th classes in the subject areas of Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and biotechnology. Moreover, I have an expertise in skill based teaching related to applied sciences curriculum. I have also trained graduate students as a research associate in Central food technological research institute, Mysore.

I have cleared AFCAT and CTET national level exam , hence i am well versed with the general science topics.

Biology forms the basics of lifescience subjects which were my core subjects in graduation and postgraduation.

Human physiology was one of the core chapter in postgraduate course work.

Cell biology is an integral part of biochemistry as well as cancer biology. Hence I am well equipped to teach this topic to college students in both practical and theoretical aspects.

Genetics was a core subject under biochemistry.
