About me
Hi, I am Harshita and I teach Biology. I have always loved in-depth and immersive studying. Early on I was told that the best way to learn something is to practice it. This got me interested in teaching my core subject, Biology. It has been 3 years of teaching this subject and it had a big role to play in my becoming a doctor. Now, I love to balance between these two complementary roles of being a doctor and a biology tutor. As a teacher, I like to explain different topics elaborately and clear all doubts students may have. It is also an interesting experience to meet various kinds of students and explain the same science in different ways.

Teaching Experience
I begin by demarcating what a student’s study needs are and accordingly create the study material for them. Then, I lay emphasis on simplifying each topic. To make it interesting, I explain the processes like a story and throw in fun facts. Often the retention of knowledge is short-lived. To overcome this challenge, I ask my students to ask questions and engage in the learning process. Also, I give my students tests and quizzes on an ongoing basis. Above all, my intention is to pass on my passion for biology to my students through my classes.
