About me

Hi! I’m Jaspreet and I am a History tutor. Making history fun and exciting is what I aspire for! Past events define our identity and the study of History aids in that. It is true of a person, a country, and the world. And I love to take my students on the journey of events through various ages. Famous historian Dexter Perkins rightly put it- “History is a kind of introduction to more interesting people than we can possibly meet in our restricted lives; let us not neglect the opportunity.” Even after 13 years of teaching History, I still enjoy teaching it as much as I did when I started. And I am still passionate about describing the events, what led to them and how they impacted those times and onward. It makes History lessons like vivid stories that are unforgettable.

Though I explain and narrate the chapters in detail, I do prepare students to write answers for the exams. I explain how to write long-form and short answers for any given topic. Students often leave History papers unfinished due to a lack of sufficient time. I help them with time management techniques and teach them how much time to allot to different sections.
