About me

 

Hi, I am Mandeep and I am a Biology tutor. I love how technology and modern medicine have been growing and helping people alleviate health problems. That is why I chose to study pharmacy. As a matter of helping my juniors, I started teaching them. Fortunately, all of them fared well in their exam. Soon, I started receiving requests to teach other juniors and biology students. Now, I have taken up teaching professionally and enjoy helping students from all over the world gain a better understanding of biology.

Teaching Experience

 

I divide my sessions into smaller milestones as it ensures that my students are motivated throughout and have smallest goals to accomplish before mastering the full concept. This also helps me in keeping a tap on the strengths & gaps in my students' learning.  For example, I start by explaining parts of a process like the esophagus and the gallbladder and small processes like salivation. Then I connect the dots to show my students how all of them function together to complete the process of digestion. My students don’t feel overwhelmed this way. Besides, I share with them the formats to write answers to different types of questions and how to make lists that they can go through before exams for quick revision of important topics. I also have them take quizzes and describe a topic in their words from time to time in order to gauge their progress.

My Expertise

Top subjects

Same for cell biology. I have quite good grasp on it. I made my students to get this subject on their fingertips by making them understand the concepts.

This is my top subject. I studied human physiology during the medical preparation and also in the yearly years of my graduation. This is the subject I taught the most to my juniors.

I am in continuous touch with microbiology. Even now I need to study it in pharmaceutical studies.
