I have been teaching CHEMISTRY for the last 25 years at various levels right from +1, +2 standard to IIT Advanced aspirants. I am able to teach all areas of chemistry viz., ORGANIC, PHYSICAL AND INORGANIC chemistry for top end students. Many of my students got good ranks in their competitive exams. Teaching is passionate to me.
Galvanic cells use redox reactions to generate electric current. Electrlytic cells use external source of electrical energy to bring about a chemical change. 1 Faraday of electric charge liberates 1 equivalent of given element at the respective electrode. eg:- 1 F (96500Coulombs) charge liberates 8gm of Oxygen. i.e., 0.25 moles or 5.6 liters of oxygen at S.T.P. In the Galvanic cells the electrodes having lower S.R.P act as anode and the electrode with higher S.R.P act as cathode. anode is left hand electrode and oxidation occurs. Cathode is right hand electrode and reduction occurs. with this basic knowledge we will calculate electrode potential etc.,
It is the chemistry of Hydrocarbons and their derivatives. It describes the preparations , Properties, structural aspects, Isomerism regarding organic molecules. Electron displacement effects like Inductive effect, resonance effect etc., play major role in understanding organic reactions and their mechanisms. Proper understanding mechanism of various reactions creates interest in learning organic chemistry. We will come across several interesting areas like ALDOL CONDENSATION, CANNIZZARO REACTIONS, CLAISEN CONDENSATIONS, etc.,
