About me

Hi! My name is Muskan and I am a Math tutor. I believe that numbers are magical. When you learn to play with them, problems cease to bother you (pun intended)! My teaching experience began with helping my younger brother with Math. This made me realize that I had a natural inclination toward teaching this subject and I started my career as a math teacher. 3 years of teaching has given me immense satisfaction and joy. I try to simplify the concepts for my students and act as a catalyst that encourages them to solve the problems independently with confidence & advance their skills.

Teaching Experience

I start by helping students identify their strengths and acknowledging their weaknesses with respect to the subject or topic. By identifying the gap areas, I then work on addressing the root cause which is most often lack of clarity with the foundational rules like the PEMDAS, the fundamental formulas. I help them solidify their basics through explanations & practice. To help my students deal with the complex problems, I build a connection with the basics they learnt and how with a little extra focus & determination they can solve any math problem in their curriculum. Besides, I am emphatic about regular practice of problems and tests. At the end of the day, what brings a smile to my face is seeing my students learn and perform well at Math.
