About me

Hi! I am Ojasvi and I am an Economics tutor. There is so much to know about how money works and how economies function. I am passionate about explaining these concepts. I have been explaining the concepts of this subject since the last 3 years and preparing students for different exams. My professional experience of working on different projects has really helped me give to my students a practical outlook towards Economics. I learned the most by working as a consultant with the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India, where I got the opportunity to handle various research projects (in collaboration with International agencies, United Nations) on cross-cutting issues of Economics. I have also worked as a researcher for the BRICS International forum. I researched on topics like “Economic Impacts of Tourism” and “Aspiring Women Domestic Workers”. My findings were published in eminent journals like UN Women (March 2020) etc. In my one-on-one classes, I intend to clarify all your doubts regarding this subject, and teach you how to write the answers with precision.

Teaching Experience

I like to present the topics well and relate examples with the concepts. As the students grasp the microeconomics concepts through simple examples, it becomes easy for them to understand macroeconomics too. Occasionally, I quiz my students to test their knowledge and discover the areas where they need to improve upon. Scoring good marks in Economics requires deep understanding of the principles, dealing with case studies and hypothetical situations, and understanding the pros and cons of an economic decision. I train all my Economics students for all of these through repeated practice. And as far as Statistics is concerned, I teach my students about the topics and how they can apply them in software like R and STATA.
