About me

Hi! I’m Poonam. I teach Biology. Did you know that the earth has hosted over 5 billion species and 99% of them are extinct now! Isn’t that mind-boggling? I love to impart knowledge to my students about the various life forms and how their bodies function. I have been doing this for the last 17 years. I also have a keen interest in researching biology topics. This propelled me to publish 5 abstracts and 3 research papers in national and international journals. Come, join my classes if you wish to explore this subject or study it with a sense of enjoyment.

Teaching Experience

It is common for students to get lost in the vast study of biology. I like to help them focus on core concepts and approach the study of the subject systematically. I introduce them to different theories and facts in simple terms using diagrams and tree charts. I also go through the definitions of the most regularly used prefixes and suffixes in biology with them. This helps in getting my students familiar with the core terminology and also helps prevent the feeling of being lost with the subject.
