Hello! I’m Ravi Kumar and I am here to tackle your Math & Physics troubles. I believe that logic-based subjects like Math and Physics need to be made simple. So, I break difficult and complex concepts into smaller and easy to understand formats along with using tools to help my students learn faster. Having taught several hundred students since my college days, teaching comes naturally to me. And I move ahead in my profession with the zeal to keep on teaching and learning along with my students.
Algebra, Algebra Basics, Applied Mathematics, Arithmetic, Basic Geometry, Basic Operations, Basic Statistics, Bessel Functions, Decimals, Differential Calculus, Differential Equation, Discrete Mathematics, Estimation, Factors & Multiples, Fractions
With my 8 years of experience teaching Math and Physics, I know where students falter and what they need help. I help them move ahead in their own learning journey by giving them a gentle push forward. This helps them build upon the knowledge they already have. I sometimes use demonstrative videos and simulations in my lessons. This helps my students in gaining a real-world perspective of the theory.
I have been teaching trigonometry while gradually stretching it upto calculus level to students cross cutting the traditional boundary between 10th standard to 12th standard. I believe trigonometry forms the base upon which calculus can be understood easily. While teaching students for the same i have observe that students had difficulties in understanding the information given to solve the problems. (difficulties in understanding the intent of mathematical statements). That situation leads to errors in applying trigonometry concepts to get the solution of the problem.I usually introduce real life problems for understanding the heights-distance problems, and helping them crack and solve trigonometric identities puzzles with regular practice without mugging so many formulas rather they learn the basics and apply the same .It takes time initially but is helpful in the long run. However practice is always the key!
I usually teach geometry with help of a number of activities. Geometry is a subject that builds upon itself and it’s imperative to have underlying concepts taught throughout all education levels. Initially. i focus on incorporating challenges in which students have to use multiple properties layered upon one another to find missing measures or solve problems. Angle puzzles offer a fun and challenging task, while gradually understanding non-euclidian geometry, theorems, undefined terms, definitions, and axioms, and parallely applying them.

I think teaching physics and making it easily understandable is through some practical, experimental, example oriented or at least some virtual simulations,Normally i do it through various videos and simulations and then jumping to the theoretical part about laws, equations, numericals etc. I usually design regular tests and practice sessions to build the concepts further and enhance numerical ability. I usually apply more or less same strategy to most of the science topics.
I think that the hardest part of teaching chemistry is bringing the complex down to a level that students can grasp. I love to use illustrations from real life, demos, and hands-on activities whenever I can.I focus on what I call the Big 3: naming compounds (nomenclature), reactions, and chemistry calculations (stoichiometry). A firm foundation in these will set up student up for success. The other units can be taught to the depth needed to build on this foundation. I also change the depth of my teaching depending on the level of my students. If I have a class that is planning on going onto AP chem, then I will push them harder. Everything rest depends on the level of students i am teaching to e.g., elementary, middle or high school and accordingly i devise my plan.
Always delivers excellent work.
