I have completed my Master in Applied Statistics and Informatics from Shivaji University Kolhapur. I have 1 year experience to teach statistics and 2 year experience as a subject matter expert on Chegg India. Interested to teach students from basic statistics to the advanced statistics.

Mean is Average of the total numbers . That is the sum of the numbers divided by total numbers. e.g : 55,44,70,40,45 The mean of these number is 254/5 = 50.8

The median is the middle of the set of the numbers. e.g : 2,7,4,5,9,11,13 To find the median of these set we first arrange the data in ascending order ie from smallest to largest and pick the middle observation of them. for these data : 2,4,5,7,9,11,13 the middle value is 7 thus median is 7

Mode is the mostly occurred value in the data set. e.g : In data 5,8,3,3,7,7,3,2,11 In these set of date mostly occurred value is 3 Thus mode of these data is 3
