About me

Hi! I’m Shivalik and I am a Physics tutor. Working with physics has even made traveling to the moon possible! But at the same time, this is a subject that is valuable to our day-to-day lives. My experience as a student as well as a teacher has taught me that understanding and enjoying Physics go hand in hand. Hence, I love to feed the interests of my students of different grade levels in this subject and make learning Physics fun. As a natural consequence, their grades go up!

Teaching Experience

I value each student's individuality and make every attempt to accommodate their needs. One student may want to learn and explore by looking at visuals and diagrams more than the other student who wants to take time to instill a concept slowly & practice each concept by writing. I make concerted efforts to tailor my classes to suit them. Student assessments are key to my teaching as I spend time evaluating their progress & understanding their future needs on an ongoing basis. Mostly, my classes are a mix of theory and numerical sections. This is to ensure a well-rounded and comprehensive class. Also, it prepares the students for all types of exam questions.
