Outside the classroom, I am a huge animal enthusiast and a dog mom. I am a dog blogger, art therapy blogger as well as a youtuber. My dog blog mainly focusses on dog care, grooming and training while my art therapy blog focusses on mental wellness through art therapy.

Teaching Experience

I have been conducting online and offline classes in Biology and its many fields for the last 6 years (throughout my Ph.D duration and later). I love to teach and enlighten the students. In my online classes, I have taught Immunology, Cell biology and molecular biology and analytical techniques in biology. In my offline classes, I have taught Immunology, molecularer biology and analytical techniques in biology.

I love teaching and shaping young minds. I prefer to start the class with a revision of the already taught lessons and then proceed with teaching the new ones. This ensures a proper foundation of learning for the students.

I do not believe in rote memorization for biology. Biology is a subject that is completely analytical and must be studied in terms of concepts instead of mugging up facts. I prefer to teach every and every concept in great depth and detail so that the foundation of learning for the student is clear and precise. Conceptual learning helps one in the long term.

I have studied cell biology for over 6 years. Everything about the cell is so fascinating. Every organelle has its own function, regulation and acts as a support system for other organelles and for the cell as a whole. If one organelle falters, it can be detrimental to the cell. Cell biology is all about understanding the roles and concepts. If you allow me to teach you this subject, you will never have to cram and fact in your head. Learning will happen automatically as you understand and grasp the concepts being taught.

I have done my Masters in Biotechnology. I have experience in teaching basic as well as advanced level biotech to students from 11th grade to the level of Masters. My students love my teaching style which is focussed on delivering bite-sized information with lots of revision to enhance the students learning capacity and keep them motivated to study harder. My Ph.D. has been in Clinical Immunology. The topic of my thesis was 'The role of Endogenous Toll-Like Receptor ligands in adult and juvenile Spondyloarthropathy'. I have taught Immunology as a subject to Bachelor and Master level students. My students love my teaching style which is focused on delivering bite-sized information with lots of revision to enhance the students learning capacity and keep them motivated to study harder.
