About me
I can teach chemistry. I keep it simple. Understand the concept, and not memorize. If memorization is ever required, use mnemonics. Practice as much as you can. Relax between studies. There are no alternatives to studies. And, there may be multiple ways to solve a problem. You may not be able to solve all the problems you come up with; but if you try enough, you will achieve success. My interests outside of school are apps, gadgets, foods, gym, traveling, patriotism, music. Anything that defies me, or any task believed to be a 'NO' for me makes me take up the gauntlet. I believe in what Mr. Steve Jobs said once, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."

Teaching Assistant (Jan, 2003 - Dec, 2010) at University of the Pacific, California, USA Worked with individual students to provide personalized educational, behavioral and emotional support in organic/general/analytical chemistry courses with hands-on training; developed and maintained an innovative website for teaching purposes since 2006; assisted in ‘American Chemical Society Mass Spectrometry Short Course’ in 2005-2007. Lecturer (Sep, 2002 - Nov, 2002) at Sachdeva College, Kolkata, India Taught & tutored students by planning, preparing and presenting lessons; set & evaluated assignments/gave feedback for better performance; recognized, respected & nurtured the creative potential of each student; trained & counselled students in various aspects of their career path.
