About me

Hello! My name is Thalesh and I am a chemistry teacher. I help students navigate the world of atoms, protons, and neutrons! When I was introduced to Chemistry in school, I found it quite interesting. But in time, began my struggle with the concepts and the numerical problems. What helped me then was timely and helpful mentoring by a Chemistry tutor. It led me to score better grades and develop confidence in the subject. I went on to be awarded as a “child scientist” at the 21st National Children's Science Congress. Besides, I ranked among the top 3% in the national-level entrance exams for college. It is my strong belief that good tutoring can get you better at Chemistry. For me, that includes explaining basic to advanced topics clearly and checking if my student has been able to grasp the concepts or not.

Teaching Experience

It is important to understand the unique challenges different students face. To help all students, from visual learners to auditory learners, I leverage a variety of tools and customize my teaching style. For the visual learners, I rely more on charts & diagrams to explain the concept whereas for an auditory learner I use examples from the real world and invite the student to discuss the concept rather than simply listen to my lecture. Through initial conversation about a student’s understanding of chemistry, I work towards making them comfortable and confident with the subject & language used. All my classes are suited to individual student’s requirements and I set my style and pace as per the need. Ultimately, what matters to me is that my students should be able to solve the toughest problems and have a crystal clear knowledge of concepts.
