About me

 

Hi, I am Soumya and I teach Math. I have been teaching for 3 years now. My mission is to keep honing my skills and to get better by the day with my knowledge of the subject.  That is why I continue to take up difficult mathematical challenges. My other involvements have been in presenting award-winning projects in college and completing several professional projects that involve complex mathematical calculations. I believe in being an active support system for my students and allowing them to find their own path in math.

Teaching Experience

 

Practice and perseverance were two attributes that aided me in my study. I try to instill these values in my students as well. I enjoy teaching with the use of supporting graphs and diagrams in particular. Many formulas become apparent and easy to recall as a result of this. In addition, I also bring to their awareness the common mistakes students make in exams and how to avoid them to score full marks. However, because each student is different, I strive to tailor my teaching style and pace to their progress.
