to know a systematic solution to solving these types of problems that could appear on the test.
I’ve never been subjected to this type of math or algebra before and it appears as though most of these types of problems are going to be on the test.
Do you have any solutions or step-by-step methods on how to interpret and solve these problems? Thank you.
uction in Algebra II. I need someone to tutor me through the initial material. We are using the textbook Big Ideas Math, Algebra II, a Common Core Curriculum, copyright 2015.
ng systems of linear equations.
The assigned question is,
The number of wet days in a year for one town is 47 days greater than the number for a second town. The sum of the numbers of wet days for one year in these two cities is 285. How many wet days occur in each town?
ition by Arnold J. Insel, Lawrence E. Spence, and Stephen H. Friedberg. I feel like the textbook lacks explanation considering this is my first exposure to linear algebra. At this point in the semester, I feel like I have a good idea of the concepts and how to represent them (e.g. I understand and can visualize what is happening in space) because I've spent a lot of time learning from alternative resources. What I am having trouble with now is when I go back to the book, I can follow the examples to an extent, but there are computations that aren't explained and I don't know where they are coming from. Moreover, and more importantly, I don't know how to approach the assignment questions at all.
