Every school has its resident nerd/tutor, right? Guess who was my school's resident nerd/tutor? This guy! Funnily enough, I'm actually working as a sub-teacher right now! I specialize in Languages, my native Spanish and English as a Second Language, but I've done a lot of reading and writing about other subjects, enough to be comfortable to cover classes when no one else is available.
As cliché as it sounds, when I'm not a teacher, I'm being a learner. I enjoy reading a lot and doing whatever little course or DIY tutorial I can get my hands on. Yeah, that nerd thing on my teacher experience is there for a reason. Oh! I'm also a writer! Granted, the kind that does NaNoWriMo for fun and is the butt of every relatable writer meme on Tumblr, but a writer nonetheless!
Body Systems: It was my favorite subject back in high school, and in fact I did many presentations about 'em and their corresponding diseases and conditions. My preferred ones were the nervous and endocrine systems.
Editing: I have a passion for writing. Granted it's mostly creative writing, but I pride myself in knowing that a great deal of my papers and reports would floor the the teachers. Not just by the nice format and citations, but by virtue of having their ideas so well-explained. But hey, if you need help with a story or play, I'm also here!
Conversational English (also Small Talk): I learned English not by courses or books, but rather by listening to subbed songs and series and mimicking their speech patterns. My accent might not sound all that neutral (though I make a good Floridan!), but many actually believe in a native speaker thanks to my ample vocabulary! And in written form? I'm basically a shapeshifter.
English: Hey, it's my college major! And my first area of expertise! Shoot away, 'cause I'm here!
Spanish: What's not to love about Spanish? It's grammar? It's verb conjugations? The fact that it's the killjoy elder brother to English wilder and easier? Who knows! But it's my mother language and I love it.
