I have been tutoring students in all levels of math, especially Algebra through college level calculus, for over twenty years. I have two years of classroom teaching experience in math and have been employed as a tutor by public and private high schools, community colleges and private students. I have helped homebound students, home-schooled students and students of online academies. I have over four years of experience with online tutoring. Helping students to achieve that "Ah-ha!" moment in mathematics is my professional goal.
I am a Navy wife and have enjoyed traveling the country and the world with my family. I love to camp, hike, and see the great outdoors. I love to snorkel or SCUBA whenever I can. I love to cook, sew, read and be with my family. I have three grown children.
Trigonometry: Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that studies relationships involving lengths and angles of triangles. I love teaching Trigonometry.
Algebra Basics: Algebra is one of the broad parts of mathematics, together with number theory, geometry and analysis. I try to start with the basics and then move towards the advanced part.
Geometry: Geometry is a branch of mathematics concerned with questions of shape, size, relative position of figures, and the properties of space.
Differential Calculus: Differential calculus is a subfield of calculus concerned with the study of the rates at which quantities change. It involves many formulas and properties.
Very thorough and explains problems very well! Looking forward for next session.
