Algebra: General equation of quadratic equation is ax^2 + bx + c= 0. We have two ways to find the solution of any quadratic equation. 1. Factorization method 2. Formula method. Students find it difficult to solve it using factorization method. Let's discuss this one. As we know , general equation of the quadratic equation is ax^2 + bx + c = 0. We will multiply a and c and find the all possible factor of multiplication ac. Let's consider ac = g1*g2 , f1 * f2, c1*c2 We have to find one factor f1*f2, such that f1+f2 = b. Let's understand it with an example 2x^2 + 7x + 6 = 0..Here we have a = 2, b =7 , c =6 ac = 2*6 = 12 12 can be written as 1*12 , 2*6 , 3*4 we see that 1+12 not equal to 7 (here b =7 ) and 2 + 6 not equal to 7 3 + 4 = 7.. Thus the equation can be written as 2x^2 + 4x + 3x + 6 =0 or 2x(x+2) + 3 (x+2) = 0 or (2x+3)(x+2) = 0 or x = -3/2 , -2 Answer. Hope you liked it.
