During college I was in a work study program where I tutored people in a public library. Because it was free, people came in needing help across many different subjects such as Algebra, Writing, ESL, and even studying for the citizenship test.
I have been an online tutor for a little over two years both on other tutoring cites and on Skype. Most of the topics I have dealt with were chemistry, writing, biology, and English.
I am having a great experience in online tutoring solutions.
Currently I spend my free time listening to music, reviewing my flashcards, watching movies, and trying to get in some exercise. As far as what students should know about me, I enjoy when people come into lessons with some work on the paper. I understand that sometimes an assignment is so confusing that one does not know where to start, but seeing these initial reactions are useful to me in knowing where the current struggle point is. Feel free to contact me with questions.
Trigonometry: I have always been good at science and in degree programs in the sciences. I currently volunteer at a hospital laboratory doing pulmonary research. I have been in published papers and know how important it is to communicate science well, to all people, not just other scientists.
Accounting: Concepts and Principles: My parents are both Mexican, so Spanish comes naturally to me. Now my English is better, but I have not lost the ability to speak, read, or write it. As I go on with my studies I find it useful in understanding how certain words are formed in order to derive their meaning even though it may not be clear from a cursory point of view. Less and less people are multilingual these days and I like learning new languages in order to take a closer look at different cultures and points of view. Naturally, also to read and watch TV without subtitles, which sometimes just don't cut it.
Great tutors on Tutoreye. It was a wonderful experience.
